When copying a website, WebCopy crashes with message "Access to the path 'Global\.net clr networking' is denied."

This error occurs when running WebCopy under a Guest account on the client operating system and is due to that account not having permissions to write to certain performance counters.

Due to the version of the .NET Framework WebCopy currently uses, it it not possible to workaround this problem. Cyotek therefore does not recommend you use WebCopy under a guest account.
